Medical Receptionist

Job Description:
- Responsible for responding to and resolving complaints, answering questions, and/or providing information about the office.
- May handle requests face to face or using the telephone or mail (including electronic) interaction.
- Places outbound calls and directs calls for further problem resolution if necessary.
- May work as part of a team or as an individual. May require use of office automation to enable and report on the outcomes.
Working hours: 8 AM ?? 5 PM
--Dealing with sensitive complaints may require autonomous decision making requiring skills that may require collaboration with Management after the fact.
--Provides customer service to clients and customers.
--Processes incoming order requests, credit requests and payments.
--Ensures that all records are accurately maintained.
--Answers telephone and e-mail inquiries.
--Assists with month end reporting to clients.
--Handles customer order problems and works with customer to resolve any issues.
--HSD required, call center and clerical experience preferred.
--Medical experience a bonus.
--Excellent phone and written communications via email (data entry skills).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
