Only has the yellow rechargeable battery holder and I have a charger that fits but you may want to purchase a wall ac adapter works when plugged in but the low battery beep will sound but it will still work just fine I am going to include 4 rechargeable AA batteries and an external battery charger that charges all 4 batteries original antenna and original belt clip I did a factory reset on it so the memory has been wiped no owner's manual but it can be easily found online (google owner's manual for Whistler ws 1010 free printable pdf) THIS SCANNER DOES NOT HAVE ALPHA NUMERIC AND DOES NOT HAVE A ALPHA TAGGING FUNCTION this is analog and DOES NOT WORK WITH DIGITAL P25 OR TRUNKING THIS IS A BASIC ANALOG SCANNER the scanner has 9 banks and has a total of 400 channels has a pc interface jack but it does not have the programming cable it would need to be ordered online and you will need a radio reference account and download software online that's compatible with the WHISTLER WS- 1010 analog scanner has weather radio with SAME weather radio alerts and also has a skywarn channel feature and buttons that tune to different services ie fire ems law enforcement ham radio bands marine radio frequencies aircraft weather belt clip slides into the grooves on the back of the scanner and snaps in place it picks up great also if you can't charge the batteries through the scanner power port I am including a external battery charger with 4 rechargeable AA batteries batteries are included please note that I don't have the alkaline battery battery holder so you can only use the rechargeable AA batteries in the yellow battery holder which is the only one I have for it but works flawlessly and perfectly fine with the batteries installed in it but the batteries need to be recharged in the external charger (included) thank you and have a wonderful day and thank you for your interest in the scanner
